Dr. Michael Ryan is an award-winning, innovator in Texas education. The FWISD school board needs Dr. Ryan. Michael is a Texas native and FWISD graduate who has dedicated his life to education.
As a principal, Dr. Ryan implemented College-Career centers which led to a 500% increase in student scholarships in its first year. Later, Michael’s “Schools within a School” design,
which personalized education for each student, gained national recognition as a model
for the future of education when it was named a “New American High School” by the
U.S. Department of Education.
Dr. Ryan currently serves as a Blue & Gold Admissions Officer for the U.S. Naval Academy and he and his wife, Michele, are active Members at High Ridge Church in Benbrook.
